On August 3, a group of 15 people from the Japan Traditional Chinese Medicine Association came to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to sign the Guan Yuan agreement with Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Foundation. This is the 16th year for the Association to adopt the giant panda Guan Yuan.

Another important purpose of their visit was to celebrate the birthday of Guan Yuan. Guan Yuan was born in 2003 and is a female who lives in the Moonlight Delivery House of the Panda Base.

Keepers specially made an ice cake for Guan Yuan. First, she confirmed that it was an ice cake, and then she enjoyed it.
