After two months of voting by panda lovers, the names of panda cub twins, born to Rau Hin, of Japan’s Adventure World in Shirahama, Wakayama, Japan in December 2014, were revealed. The twins were named “Ying Hin” and “Tao Hin” respectively. “Ying Hin” means “the panda cub will bring warmth, love and happiness to all people who see it like cherry blossom, Japan’s national flower” and implies “a good wish that the panda cub will become magnanimous and grow healthily.” “Tao Hin” means “the panda cub will be loved by the public like peach blossom from China” and implies “a wish that the panda cub will grow peacefully and happily”.

The twins were born on December 2, 2014 and are both female. Their father is “Ei Mei”, and mother is “Rau Hin”.
