Among the baby pandas born in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in 2016, there is a pair of magical sister and brother. From birth to the present, from day to night, from the Sunshine Delivery House to the Moonlight Delivery House, they have always been together. Sometimes they love each other, but sometimes they may fight for a bamboo shoot. Wherever they go, they can leave a lovely view of their back. Other pandas envy them very much. Yes! They are the good-looking partners of the baby pandas- “big sister”Rou Rou(Mei Lan) and “young master”Wen Wen.

Rou Rou (Mei Lan) was born on May 29, 2016. She gained the nickname “Mei Cai Kou Rou” because of her mother’s name - Mei Bang. Then people called her Rou Roufor short. Wen Wenwas born on Jun. 14, 2016 by his mother Wen Li, a beautiful young female panda. They were the first two pandas born and successfully survived in the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in 2016. And both of them were born in the Sunshine Delivery House. They once were the “big sister” and “big brother” of the baby pandas there.

Young Rou Rou was very pretty thanks to her pointed face and well-behaved in childhood. And Wen Wen, with a lovely round face, was a lively handsome boy full of energy.

As the eldest two babies in 2016, they were the first to have learned to walk, run and climb. When the other panda babies were still learning how to walk, they already had been able to jump up and down, race each other, and have a lot of fun in the playground.

When the other panda babies can walk and run, Rou Rou(Mei Lan) and Wen Wen led them to the kindergarten. They playedtogether and learned from each other. Because of physical advantage, their younger sisters and brothers can be no match in a fight. Only the two could be the rival of the other.

Later, Rou Rou(Mei Lan) and Wen Wenmoved to the Moonlight Delivery House, where they soon made friends and took over the leadership.

Rolling on the ground all the day, Rou Rou (Mei Lan) just became a “yellow ball” and grew rounder and rounder thanks to the good care of keepers. Wen Wen also kept up the pace and fattened to surpass his sister. Now he is called the “Little Bandit” by the net friends since he often ransacked his sister for bamboos or other panda babies for milk.

Now Rou Rou(Mei Lan) and Wen Wen always stay together, play together, eat together and drink together, or lead their sisters and brothers to fight with grass and trees, panda keepers, camera man, and also with each other. Their life is very happy and carefree.
